This mint yogurt sauce recipe has only 7 main ingredients and is very easy and quick to make! You can pair it with a vast variety of dishes – from proteins like meats ( lamb, pork, chicken, and fish) to simple roasted vegetables. Delicious!
Wash the mint and the lemon, peel the garlic. Take a ceramic bowl out ready to mix this wonderful sauce.
Jest and juice half a lemon, chop finely the fresh mint, and mince, or paste the garlic.
Place yogurt, mint, garlic, salt, turmeric powder, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and lemon zest, olive oil, cumin, cayenne pepper, if you choose to use any of the optional ingredients, in a small bowl and stir to combine.
Serve as desired or refrigerate for later.

Allow the sauce to rest or sit for at least 30 minutes so all flavors blend in nicely, then serve.
